Simon started his career in 1987 as a computer operator for Barclays Bank in The City, changing magnetic tapes on which every foreign exchange transaction was recorded. Then this thing called The Internet came along and changed our world.

Since then, he has worked in digital marketing for agencies in London and Cambridge and brands including Alzheimer’s Research UK and The Lunchtime Company.

He particularly enjoys building relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers, keeping a laser-like focus on commercial objectives, diagnosing a client’s needs and building solutions to meet their goals, as well as building an effective, happy team.

He has four wonderful children, a wife called Alexandra, a dog called Ruby and a cat called Mr. Bob Harris (after the lead character in Lost in Translation – one of his favourite films of all time). He’s a cinephile, a keen musician and loves to travel – with Japan, Italy and Estonia being some of his favourite spots.
